As at close of regular registration at midnight on Sunday 23 July 2023, 14,423 delegates had registered for the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA) Annual General Conference(AGC) 2023 as regular registration. The expectations are high as lawyers look forward to a conference like no other. Interested delegates can still register at the late registration rates and plug into the limited slots available. Other delegates can however register to attend the event virtually and still enjoy a feel of the conference.
Nigeria Police showcase session
President of Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, SAN, OON visited the Inspector General Of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun, The Nigeria Police will be having a showcase session at the Annual General Conference (AGC). The Police and Lawyers are strong players in the legal space and the need to have a working relationship cannot be over emphasized.
A friendship center to remember
Lawyers are used to having Friendship Centers at the AGC. Infact, some people look forward to the center more than the session halls. Networking is key in the AGC and this years AGC will explore this to the best. The Annual General Conference Planning Committee(AGCPC) has planned out fantastic entertainment at the Friendship Center including Entertainment spots of different kinds, Networking lounges, Gaming spots and Karaoke Lounge. Interested vendors, with exciting offerings can take advantage of the few available stalls left to leverage the huge traffic that will patronise the friendship center.
First ever Lawyers Karaoke Lounge
Lawyers will be literally singing away their cases and problems. The environment will be lit, daily top notch fun will go on at the 1st ever Karaoke lounge. You should watch out for this and start rehearsing your songs. Never mind, we will allow those with cracky voices sing too.
Wheelchair table tennis tournament
Another first in this years AGC. The list is already long as several colleagues will participate in the Wheelchair table tennis tournament. This years AGC is an inclusive one and all lawyers no matter where you stand will have a place to enjoy the conference to the fullest.
