Today, Wednesday, 23rd October 2024, I had the solemn honor of attending and delivering a tribute at the Valedictory Court Session held in honor of our beloved colleague, Yunus Ustaz SAN, at the High Court of Kaduna Complex. His passing is a profound loss, not only to the NBA Kaduna Branch but to the entire legal profession in Nigeria.
Yunus Ustaz SAN was more than just a lawyer—he was a motivator, a mentor, a Life Bencher, and a legal luminary of exceptional caliber. His commitment to the noble principles of justice, truth, and fairness was unwavering. He served as a Bar leader with unparalleled distinction, always upholding the virtues of sincerity, kindness, and dedication to the legal profession.
His legacy as a legal giant will continue to inspire us all. The absence of his wisdom, guidance, and leadership will be deeply felt, but the indelible mark he left on the legal landscape and the lives he touched will remain forever.
May the Almighty grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus and comfort his beloved family, the NBA Kaduna Branch, and all who mourn his loss.
