The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in a bid to address critical security concerns and enhance the rule of law and justice delivery in the North-Central region is partnering with the Benue State Government to host the NBA North-Central Security Summit 2025.
The high-level summit with the theme “Strengthening Security, Rule of Law, and Justice Delivery in North-Central Nigeria” will take place in Makurdi, Benue State, from 27th to 29th July 2025, and will bring together leading voices in legal practice, security architecture, and policy formulation.
The summit is being organized under the leadership of Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, the Executive Governor of Benue State as the Chief Host, with the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN and the 3rd Vice President, Zainab Aminu Garba.
The event promises to be a transformative 3-day gathering of legal practitioners, security experts, policymakers, and other key stakeholders committed to driving peace, justice, and sustainable development across the region.
