NBA-AGC 2025: Badejo-Okusanya to Speak on ‘A Peep into the Future’

Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, FCIArb, Partner and Co-Head of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice at Africa Law Practice NG & Co (ALP NG & Co), will deliver a keynote session titled “Nigerian Bar Association: A Peep into the Future” at the 2025 Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association, scheduled for August 25, 2025, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Renowned for her expertise in domestic and international commercial arbitration, ADR, and high-stakes litigation, Mrs. Badejo-Okusanya has an extensive career spanning both private and public sectors. She has served as General Counsel to the Lagos State Governor’s Office, contributed to justice sector reforms, and played a pivotal role in public-private partnerships and arbitration legislation.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and accredited mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CeDR), she is a member of several professional bodies including the NBA, IBA, ICCA, ArbitralWomen, FIDA, LCIA, and the Commonwealth Lawyers Association.

Notably, she chaired the NBA Annual General Conference Planning Committee in 2024, leading an all-female team to host a landmark event attended by over 16,000 participants. Her upcoming 2025 session is expected to offer strategic insights on the future direction, governance, and impact of the NBA in Nigeria and beyond.
