Enugu, August 2025 — Distinguished legal giant, Chief Emeka Ngige, SAN, will join the panel for the highly anticipated session on “Citizens’ Rights & Security Concerns” at the Nigerian Bar Association Annual General Conference on 26 August 2025. His inclusion brings to the discussion a wealth of experience in legal education reform, professional ethics, and justice sector advocacy.
As Chairman of the Council of Legal Education, Chief Ngige has overseen a far-reaching transformation of the Nigerian Law School, spearheading the rehabilitation of dilapidated infrastructure, expansion of facilities across campuses, and launch of the Nigerian Law School Support Initiative, a project that has attracted significant private and public sector backing.
His tenure also delivered an overhaul of curricula, improved grading systems for Bar Finals, accreditation of law programmes in 37 universities, and innovative pathways to address the training backlog for graduates of the National Open University of Nigeria.
