Legal innovator and social entrepreneur Chinenye Uwanaka will appear as a panelist in the breakout session titled “Trailblazing Without Borders” at this year’s Nigerian Bar Association Annual General Conference.
Scheduled for Wednesday, August 27, 2025, the session invites trailblazers to share stories of carving new paths within the legal landscape, and Uwanaka’s narrative promises to stand out.
Uwanaka leads The Firma Advisory, a Pan-African law and consulting firm providing expert guidance across corporate, energy, intellectual property, infrastructure, and public policy matters.
With a degree in law from the University of Essex and policy training at Harvard Kennedy School, she seamlessly blends legal acumen with developmental impact.
Her practice is driven by a passion for access to justice, evident in TFA’s pro bono initiatives for marginalized communities and her leadership in the Africa Policy Conversations, a multi-country think tank shaping continental discourse.
Beyond her entrepreneurial and policy credentials, Uwanaka is a strategic force in youth development and governance. As co-chair of the Advisory Board for the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund, she helps steer a $5–6 million grant from global foundations toward empowering Nigeria’s youth.
Her advocacy for inclusive and evidence-based policymaking also positions her as a voice of change on national platforms.
