About Justice Ojoma Rachael Haruna
Justice Ojoma Rachael Haruna is a respected member of the Nigerian judiciary. She was recently appointed as a Judge of the Kogi State High Court, where she was sworn in by Governor Ododo in July 2024. Her appointment was among a list of judicial officers recommended by the National Judicial Council (NJC) for appointment to various superior courts in Nigeria.
The Governor, at the swearing-in ceremony, emphasized the judiciary as the “last hope of the common man,” urging the new judges to administer justice with fairness, equity, and integrity.
