About the Speaker
Prof. Ibrahim Abdullahi, SAN, is a Professor of Law at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, specializing in International Law and Jurisprudence. He holds an LL.B. with a Second Class Upper Division from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, an LL.M. from the University of Jos, and a Ph.D. in Law from Usmanu Danfodiyo University. He was conferred with the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in December 2021 and was appointed a Professor of Law in December 2022.
A prolific author and editor, he has published 16 books and numerous articles in national and international journals. He serves as the Head of the Department of Private and Business Law and is the Editor-in-Chief of the UDUS Law Journal and the Caliphate Bar Journal.
Prof. Abdullahi is a member of several professional bodies, including the Nigerian Bar Association and the European Centre for Research Training and Development UK. He is a recipient of multiple academic and excellence awards, reflecting his significant contributions to the legal field. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants.
