As we mark the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), I join our Muslim colleagues and the wider Nigerian Muslim community in celebration. This day is more than a commemoration, it is a reminder of the light he brought to the world through his message of compassion, justice, humility, and service to humanity.
The Prophet’s timeless example speaks to us today: to defend the vulnerable, to lead with integrity, to promote peace and fairness, and to build communities anchored in mercy and unity. These virtues are not only the foundation of faith but also values that strengthen our profession and our nation.
As families and communities gather in joy, may this season inspire deeper tolerance, unity, and mutual respect across faiths and regions. Let us also remember those facing hardship and renew our collective resolve to uphold the dignity of every person and ensure justice for all.
