The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) wishes to inform the public that its accredited election observers for the 2025 Anambra Governorship Election are on ground across various polling units in the state, monitoring the conduct of the ongoing election.
The NBA Observer Team, led by the First Vice President of the Association, Sebastian Anyia, Esq., reports that election materials in Aguata Local Government Area were distributed as early as 5:00 a.m.
Generally, voting in most polling units visited by NBA observers commenced after 8:00 a.m. and has so far been peaceful and orderly.
The NBA reiterates its commitment to promoting free, fair, and credible elections in Nigeria and will continue to monitor developments as the process unfolds, ensuring transparency and adherence to democratic principles.
