The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Remuneration Committee is sending a polite yet firm reminder to all branches that have not yet submitted their Branch Resolutions on the Enforcement Mechanism for the Legal Practitioners’ Remuneration Order 2023.
Chairman Chief Emeka J.P. Obegolu, SAN, and Secretary Rachael Princewill underscore the importance of these submissions. The Committee noted that the resolutions are vital, as they provide the foundational data needed to properly structure the upcoming Town Hall Meetings on Enforcement.
Timely compliance ensures that the strategies for implementing the Remuneration Order 2023 are effective and tailored to the specific needs of every jurisdiction.
The Committee emphasises that cooperation from every branch is essential for the unified and successful enforcement of the Order across the Bar.
Final Submission Date
This serves as a polite NOTICE that all outstanding resolutions should be submitted promptly, on or before the final deadline of Friday, December 20, 2025.
