The Nigerian Bar Association – Section on Legal Practice (NBA-SLP) has announced that payment of its 2026 membership dues will commence on Thursday, 1 January 2026.
According to the Section, only members who pay their dues on or before 31 March 2026 will be regarded as financially compliant for the year.
Financially compliant members are entitled to several benefits, including access to a nationwide and global professional network, free CPD-accredited webinars, discounted conferences, trainings and workshops, career development and mentorship opportunities, as well as participation in committees that shape legal practice in Nigeria.

All payments are to be made online. Existing members are required to pay via the NBA-SLP portal at https://portal.nbaslp.org, with the option to use the “Forgot Password” feature where necessary. New members are to register and pay through https://nbaslp.org/register.
The approved rates for the 2026 membership year are ₦5,000 for members between one and seven years post-call, and ₦10,000 for members above seven years post-call. An additional ₦5,000 applies to members who wish to join an extra committee.
Members have been advised to ensure that their personal and professional details on the portal are properly updated before making payment.
