The Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF) has officially announced Kano State as the host of its 2026 Annual General Conference (AGC), scheduled to hold from 27th March to 1st April, 2026.
The Conference, one of the most anticipated gatherings of women legal practitioners in Nigeria, will convene members from across the country to engage in robust dialogue, capacity-building sessions, and strategic reflections under the theme:
“Time to Gain: Building a Culture of Leadership, Legacy and Support.”

The 2026 AGC is designed to deepen conversations around purposeful leadership, institutional continuity, mentorship, and the collective responsibility of women in law to strengthen professional support systems within and beyond the Bar.
It will also provide a vibrant platform for networking, policy discourse, and the celebration of excellence among women in the legal profession.
Hosting the Conference in Kano underscores the Forum’s commitment to inclusivity, national integration, and the deliberate expansion of professional engagement across all regions of Nigeria.
The NBA Women Forum calls on members of the Bar, stakeholders, and partners to mark their calendars and prepare to be part of what promises to be a transformative and impactful Conference.
Further details on registration, programme highlights, and logistics will be communicated in due course through official NBAWF channels.
