GOMBE – Preparations are in top gear for the highly anticipated 2026 NBA Gombe Branch Law Week, scheduled to take place from 15th to 21st May 2026. This year’s event, themed “Strengthening Justice Through Reforms: Lawyers as Agents of Change,” promises to be a watershed moment for legal practitioners in the region and beyond.
The Planning Committee has officially confirmed that Roseline Tasha, Esq., of the Federal Ministry of Justice, Abuja, will be featuring as a distinguished Panelist. Known for her staunch advocacy for human rights and judicial accountability, Ms. Tasha brings a wealth of experience from the heart of Nigeria’s legal administration to the Gombe Bar.
Roseline Tasha, Esq.
Roseline Tasha is a seasoned legal practitioner currently serving with the Federal Ministry of Justice, Abuja. A dedicated member of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), she has held several leadership positions within the Abuja branch, including serving as its Vice Chairperson.
Throughout her career, Ms. Tasha has been a vocal proponent for:

Judicial Reform: She has consistently advocated for the full implementation of the Anti-Torture Act and other legislative frameworks aimed at protecting human rights.

Gender Advocacy: As a leader in FIDA, she has spearheaded numerous initiatives providing pro-bono legal representation, counseling, and economic empowerment for survivors of gender-based violence (GBV).

Child Rights & Education: She is a frequent speaker at national workshops, emphasizing the role of intentional parenting and quality education in building a progressive society.
