The Heart of the Bar: NBA Sokoto Brings Hope to Guiwa Eka IDP Camp

NBA Sokoto Branch is proving that the heart of the law beats strongest where it is needed most. As part of the Law Week 2026, legal practitioners are set to trade their gowns for hands of fellowship in a powerful display of humanity.

On April 10th, 2026, the journey of the Caliphate Bar leads to the Guiwa Eka Temporary Displaced Persons Camp in Wammakko LGA. This isn’t merely a scheduled visitation; it is a profound statement that justice is incomplete if it does not reach the vulnerable.

By bringing gift items and a message of solidarity to those displaced by circumstance, the NBA Sokoto Branch reminds us that the law’s ultimate purpose is to protect and restore the dignity of every citizen.

For thirty minutes, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm, the gap between the temple of justice and the resilience of the displaced will be bridged. It is a moment where the “Scales of Justice” meet the “Hand of Mercy,” proving that even in the pursuit of legal excellence, we must never lose our soul.

Event Details:

  •  Location: Guiwa Eka Temporary Displaced Persons Camp, Wammakko LGA, Sokoto.
  • Time: 3:00 pm – 3:30 pm.

Don’t be told… Be the hands that heal.
