Distinguished Colleague,
We trust this finds you well. As a major stakeholder and indeed an esteemed member of the Nigerian Bar Association, we feel obliged to extend to you a formal invitation to witness the opening of the sealed envelopes containing the nomination forms and the supporting documents submitted by those interested in contesting the various offices as at yesterday, the 8th of April,2026 as requested by our ECNBA NOTICE NO. 6 dated 16th March, 2026 for the upcoming 2026 election of our Association.
The opening ceremony symbolizes the commencement of a crucial phase in our association’s democratic process, as we prepare to elect individuals who will lead the Bar at the end of the tenure of the current leadership.
The event will hold as follows:
- Date: Today, Friday 10th April 2026.
- Venue: NBA House 9 Oro Ago Crescent Garki Abuja
- Time: 10:00am Prompt.
The essence of this exercise amongst others, is to identify the forms and supporting documents as submitted by each aspirant in the full glare and open view of all attendees.
Aspirants and/or their appointed agents are particularly encouraged to attend either physically or virtually(via the link that will be circulated on the ECNBA website.
The ECNBA 2026 hereby assures all members of our Association of ensuring that at all stages of the processes in the election, transparency, openes and integrity will be adhered to for an enduring and sustainable outcome of the 2026 NBA Elections.
