In a significant move to bolster the relationship between the bar and the regulator, the leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) recently led a high-powered delegation to the headquarters of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
The visit, led by the NBA-SBL Chair, was aimed at deepening the existing partnership between both organizations and ensuring a seamless collaborative framework for the legal and business communities in Nigeria.
A Double Header of Strategic Support
During the meeting, the Registrar General (RG) of the CAC expressed his unwavering commitment to the NBA-SBL’s upcoming calendar of events. He officially pledged the Commission’s full support for two landmark gatherings:

The Northern Zonal Conference: Scheduled to take place later this month in the historic city of Kaduna.

The Annual NBA-SBL Conference: The flagship event of the Section, set to hold this June in the nation’s capital, Abuja.
The RG noted that these conferences serve as vital platforms for dialogue, and the CAC is eager to contribute to the discourse that shapes the ease of doing business in Nigeria.
One of the highlights of the engagement was the RG’s promise to ensure that the Commission does not just attend as observers, but as active participants.
