Eligible voters are required to access the official NBA electronic voting portal, verify their Supreme Court Number, request and verify a One-Time Password (OTP), access the electronic ballot, cast their votes, review and confirm their selections, and obtain a confirmation receipt upon successful submission.

The ECNBA also announced key dates for the electoral process. Trial Messages will be conducted from 22nd to 27th June, 2026, while Authentication Testing is scheduled for 4th and 5th July, 2026. On security and ballot secrecy, the Committee assured members that the platform deploys multiple layers of security, including End-to-End Encryption (SSL/TLS), SCN Verification, OTP Authentication, Immutable Audit Logs, and Real-Time Monitoring.

It emphasized that complete ballot secrecy is guaranteed and that no person, including ECNBA officials, Mikrodigital Connect personnel, or any third party, will have access to a voter’s selections.

The Committee further disclosed that all personal data will be processed in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and applicable regulations. Thanelinc Nigeria Limited has been appointed as Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the elections to ensure full compliance with data protection obligations.
