NBA GOMBE LAW WEEK 2026: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SIX OF THE NORTH’S LEADING SILKS SHARE ONE STAGE? GOMBE IS ABOUT TO FIND OUT

The countdown has begun.

On 17 June 2026, the ICC Auditorium in Gombe will transform into a hub of legal intellect as some of Northern Nigeria’s most respected Senior Advocates of Nigeria gather for what promises to be one of the most engaging conversations of the NBA Gombe Law Week 2026.

Under the theme “Advancing Justice Reforms in Northern Nigeria: The Senior Advocate’s Imperative,” the session, Northern Bar Perspectives: A Dialogue with Guest SANs, will bring together Jonathan Gunu Taidi, SAN; Musa Attah, SAN; Paul Harris Ogbole, SAN; Aminu S. Gadanya, SAN; Abdul Mohammed, SAN; and Mohammed Ndayako, SAN.

But this is more than another conference session.

It is an opportunity to hear directly from members of the Inner Bar on the challenges, opportunities, and responsibilities shaping the future of justice delivery in Northern Nigeria.

What role should Senior Advocates play in driving justice reforms? How can the legal profession respond to emerging challenges within the justice sector? What does the future hold for legal practice and institutional development in Northern Nigeria?

These are some of the issues expected to dominate the conversation.

For young lawyers, it is a chance to learn from accomplished practitioners. For senior members of the Bar, it is an opportunity to engage with colleagues at the forefront of legal development. For every participant, it promises an hour of robust discourse and practical insights.

The dialogue is scheduled for Wednesday, 17 June 2026, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the ICC Auditorium, Gombe.

The stage is set. The silks are ready. The conversation awaits. Will you be in the room when the future of justice reform takes centre stage?
