The Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) has released the timetable for its Western Zone Voter Sensitization Workshop as preparations continue for the 2026 NBA National Elections.
The workshop forms part of the Committee’s nationwide voter education programme aimed at equipping eligible members with the knowledge required to participate effectively in the electronic voting process.
According to the timetable, the Western Zone session will hold as follows:
Date: Sunday, 5 July 2026
Time: 6:00 p.m. (WAT)
Format: Virtual Only
Venue: Official ECNBA online meeting link (to be circulated).
The workshop will bring together NBA members from the following states:
- Lagos
- Oyo
- Ekiti
- Ogun
- Ondo
- Osun
- Edo
- Delta
The ECNBA stated that the official meeting link will be circulated to Chairmen of all NBA Branches within the Western Zone at least twelve (12) hours before the commencement of the session.
The Committee also assured members that all NBA branches within the zone will be covered during the sensitization exercise. In addition, the ECNBA Secretariat has been directed to ensure the prompt dissemination of invitations, the official e-voting user guide, and the virtual meeting link to facilitate seamless participation by eligible voters.
The voter sensitization workshop is part of ECNBA’s commitment to promoting a transparent, credible, and inclusive electoral process by ensuring that members are adequately informed and prepared for the 2026 NBA National Elections.
