The Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) has released the timetable for its Eastern Zone Voter Sensitization Workshop as preparations intensify for the 2026 Nigerian Bar Association National Elections.
The virtual sensitization session is designed to educate eligible voters on the electronic voting process, improve voter participation, and address concerns relating to the forthcoming NBA elections.
The Eastern Zone workshop is scheduled to hold as follows:
Date: Sunday, 5 July 2026
Time: 4:00 p.m. (WAT)
Format: Virtual Meeting
Venue: Official ECNBA online meeting link (to be circulated).
The workshop will accommodate members from the following states:
- Anambra State
- Akwa Ibom State
- Rivers State
- Imo State
- Abia State
- Bayelsa State
- Enugu State
- Cross River State
According to the timetable issued by the Committee, the official virtual meeting link will be circulated to Chairmen of NBA Branches within the Eastern Zone at least twelve (12) hours before the commencement of the session.
The ECNBA also stated that all NBA branches within the designated state cluster will be covered during the sensitization exercise.
As part of its logistics arrangements, the ECNBA Secretariat has been directed to ensure the prompt dissemination of invitations, the official e-voting user guide, and the virtual meeting link to all affected Branch Chairmen to guarantee seamless participation.
The voter sensitization workshop forms part of the Committee’s broader efforts to ensure that members of the Nigerian Bar Association are adequately informed about the electronic voting process and fully prepared to participate in a credible, transparent, and inclusive 2026 NBA National Election.
