LDear Learned Silks, Benchers, Elders, Seniors and Colleagues,
Following the successful conduct of the Branch elections on the 31st day of July 2026, the newly elected Executive Committee of the Branch was led to take the oath of office, in a brief ceremony conducted by the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee.
It is the unanimous resolution of the Executive Committee of the Branch to celebrate the peaceful and seamless leadership transition and the milestone it represents in the annals of our Branch in a more ceremonious and befitting manner, by way of a formal and elaborate inauguration ceremony slated for Friday, the 7th day of August 2026 by 10am.
The Executive Committee of the Branch has therefore constituted a committee to plan and organize the inauguration ceremony. The committee comprises the following members of the Branch:
