Liberty Bar Sets Stage for Grand Thanksgiving Service as Law Week 2026 Gains Momentum

The Nigerian Bar Association, Garki Branch, popularly known as the Liberty Bar, has announced its special Thanksgiving Service as part of activities marking its highly anticipated Law Week 2026 celebration.

The uplifting service is scheduled to hold on Sunday, 17th May 2026 at 8:30 AM at The Light Nation Church, beside the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology, off Asuquo J. Okon Street, Jabi, Abuja.

According to the Branch, the Thanksgiving Service will provide an atmosphere of gratitude, reflection, worship, and renewed commitment as members of the legal profession gather to appreciate God for the progress, unity, and achievements of the Branch.

The event is expected to attract distinguished members of the Bench and Bar, senior lawyers, young lawyers, stakeholders in the justice sector, and invited guests from across the Federal Capital Territory and beyond.

Members attending the service are expected to appear in Full Legal Robe, adding colour, prestige, and solemnity to the gathering.

As preparations intensify for the remaining Law Week activities, the NBA Garki Branch has continued to encourage lawyers and stakeholders to participate fully in all scheduled programmes designed to foster unity, wellness, professional growth, and stronger engagement within the legal community.

The Branch further urged members yet to make arrangements for the Law Week events to do so promptly and be part of what promises to be a memorable and impactful celebration.
