NBA Gombe Law Week 2026 to Spotlight the Future of the Legal Profession

The Nigerian Bar Association, Gombe Branch, has announced its highly anticipated Law Week 2026, themed “A Dialogue on the Future of the Bar.” The event is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the ICC Auditorium, Gombe.

Themed around strengthening justice through reforms and positioning lawyers as agents of change, the programme is expected to convene members of the Bar, Bench, academics, policymakers, and key stakeholders within the justice sector for robust discussions on the evolving legal profession in Nigeria.

The Law Week will feature distinguished legal luminaries including senior advocates and respected practitioners such as Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN; Aare Olumuyiwa Akinboro, SAN; and Lateef Omoyemi Akangbe, SAN, who are expected to share insights on reforms, leadership, innovation, and the future direction of legal practice.

With conversations centered on institutional reforms, professional excellence, and the role of lawyers in shaping society, the NBA Gombe Branch aims to provide a platform for progressive engagement and forward-thinking solutions for the Nigerian legal community.
