The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA wishes to notify all members of a Circular issued by the Deputy Chief Registrar (Litigation) of the Federal High Court of Nigeria regarding the filing of pre-election matters.
By the said Circular dated 22nd May, 2026, all Registries of the Federal High Court across the various Judicial Divisions shall now be opened on Saturdays and Sundays between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. strictly for the purpose of filing pre-election matters.
Members are hereby advised to take note of this development and make necessary use of the extended filing period, particularly in view of the constitutional and statutory timelines governing election-related disputes.
