The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) extends warm Eid al-Adha greetings to our Muslim colleagues across Nigeria and in the diaspora.
Eid al-Adha reminds us of the enduring values of sacrifice, obedience, faith, and compassion. Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) willingness to submit to the command of Allah teaches us that true strength lies in conviction, discipline, and service beyond self-interest. These are values that resonate deeply with our calling as legal practitioners and officers in the temple of justice.
As you celebrate with family, friends, and the Ummah, I encourage us all to carry the spirit of Eid into our work and our dear Association. Let us continue to uphold integrity in practice, fairness in advocacy, and generosity in mentoring the next generation of lawyers. A Bar that embodies justice, equity, and compassion is one that truly serves the people.
May Allah (SWT) accept your sacrifices, grant you and your families peace, good health, and renewed strength, and bless our profession with unity and progress.
Eid Mubarak!
Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN
President
