The NBA Women Forum (NBAWF), Edo State Chapter, has announced its Maiden Thanksgiving Love Feast and Mentoring Session scheduled to hold on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at No. 78 Boundary Road, opposite WestView Hotel, Benin City.
The event is designed to celebrate the progress recorded by the Forum in Edo State while fostering mentorship, networking, and camaraderie among female lawyers.
Activities lined up for the event include:
- Thanksgiving prayers for the achievements recorded by NBAWF Edo State and prayers for the remaining months of 2026.
- Refreshments featuring assorted foods, drinks, parfait, and ice cream.
- Dance competition.
- Professional video and photography sessions.
- Games with exciting prizes to be won.
- Airtime and data giveaways.
- Exchange of gifts among participants.
- Cutting of the birthday cake of the NBAWF Edo State Lead.
A major highlight of the programme will be a mentoring session on the topic:
“My Court, My Dress… It Matters.”
The session will be delivered by Yinka Omorogbe, former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Edo State.
Members are encouraged to attend and participate in the celebration, bringing along a spirit of love, gratitude, and generosity.
The event is being hosted under the leadership of Bridget Imuetinyanosa Iguodala, NBAWF Edo State Lead, as part of the Forum’s commitment to empowering female lawyers for success.
