The Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) has released the official Guidelines for the Candidates’ Debate and Manifesto Day for the 2026 NBA National Elections, scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 8 July 2026, at the NBA National Headquarters, Abuja, commencing at 11:00 a.m.
The Guidelines comprehensively set out the procedures governing the debate, manifesto presentations, candidates’ participation, audience conduct, programme schedule, time allocations, and other rules designed to ensure a fair, orderly, transparent, and issue-based engagement ahead of the elections.
All candidates, members of the Nigerian Bar Association, accredited observers, and other stakeholders are encouraged to acquaint themselves with the provisions of the Guidelines, as they are binding on every participant throughout the proceedings.
