The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is set to take another significant step in advancing the welfare of legal practitioners with the official launch of its Integrated Welfare Services Platform on Saturday, 1st August 2026.
The innovative digital platform brings together the NBA-NHIA Health Insurance Scheme and the NBA Death Benefit Scheme into a single, secure, and user-friendly portal designed to simplify access to essential welfare services for members of the Bar.
With the new platform, lawyers will be able to seamlessly access and renew their health insurance, track death benefit applications, manage their membership records, and receive real-time updates, all from one centralized system.
The initiative underscores the NBA’s growing commitment to leveraging technology to deliver efficient, transparent, and member-focused services.
By digitizing key welfare processes, the Association aims to eliminate unnecessary delays, improve accessibility, and ensure that every eligible lawyer can conveniently benefit from the Association’s welfare programmes regardless of location.
The platform also places a strong emphasis on data protection, assuring members that their personal information will be handled with the highest standards of privacy and security.
As the countdown to the August 1 launch begins, lawyers across the country are encouraged to prepare to embrace a new era of digital welfare services that promises greater convenience, faster service delivery, and improved member experience.
Accessible. Convenient. Anytime. Anywhere.
