The Nigerian Bar Association National Officers Election Appeals Committee (NBA-NOEAC) will commence sitting on Tuesday, 11th August 2026, to hear petitions arising from the 2026 NBA National Officers Elections.
The sitting will hold at the President’s Conference Room, 8th Floor, NBA House, Plot 1101 Muhammadu Buhari Way, Central Business District, Abuja.
According to the Cause List issued by the Committee, three petitions are scheduled for hearing.
PETITION NO. NOEAC/001/2026 – PRESIDENT | 10:00 AM
- Lateef Omoyemi Akangbe, SAN
Vs.
- The Incorporated Trustees of the NBA; The ECNBA; and Oyinkansola Badejo-Okunsanya, SAN.
PETITION NO. NOEAC/002/2026 – GENERAL SECRETARY | 11:30 AM
- Barth Okoye Aniche
Vs.
- The ECNBA; Afam Okeke; Dr. Rapulu Ernest Nduka; Nnaebuka Onyebuchi Nwaeze; and Okey Leo Ohagba.
PETITION NO. NOEAC/003/2026 – WELFARE SECRETARY | 1:00 PM
- Chinwendu Ugochukwu
Vs.
- The ECNBA; Audrey Chinelo Ofoegbulam; Akinwumi Laleye; Ernest Ezindu Uwanaka; and Oaikhena Osagie.
All three petitions are scheduled for 11th August 2026, with parties urged to adhere strictly to the time allotted to their respective petitions.
