The Forum of Chairmen of Branches of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in the FCT, Abuja paid a courtesy visit to the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN, FCIArb. In the meeting, the Chairmen of Branches of the Nigerian Bar Association in Abuja reaffirmed their commitment towards a constructive engagement and close collaboration with the National Leadership of the Association.
The Forum expressed confidence in the President’s leadership and assured her of their continued support and collaboration in seeing to the successful implementation of the objectives and programmes of her administration, particularly those relating to the welfare and professional development of members.
The Chairmen also expressed their appreciation for the choice of Abuja as the host city for the 2027 Annual General Conference, noting that the decision present a significant opportunity to strengthen professional engagement and unity within the Association.
The Forum of Branch Chairmen further reiterated their concerns with respect to members’ welfare, administrative issues, and the effective functioning of NBA Branches in the FCT.
In her response, the NBA President appreciated the Chairmen for the courtesy visit and acknowledged the concerns raised by them. She assured them of her commitment in addressing the issues raised.
The meeting concluded on a cordial note, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to dialogue, collaboration, and the continued advancement of the Nigerian Bar Association.
