The Nigerian Bar Association’s 2025 Annual General Conference will host one of its most transformative sessions, “Trailblazing Without Borders,” on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
At the heart of this conversation will be Isaiah Bozimo, SAN, C.Arb, FCIArb, Partner at Broderick Bozimo & Company and Vice President of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, who has been announced as the Lead Speaker.

A distinguished Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Bozimo is internationally regarded for his work on complex, cross-border disputes, where he counsels governments, corporates, and private clients with a unique blend of legal acumen and strategic foresight.
His leadership extends beyond the courtroom: as former Attorney-General of Delta State, he championed sweeping reforms that modernised criminal justice processes, institutionalised restorative justice frameworks, and set enduring benchmarks for governance.
Notably, Bozimo played a defining role in the drafting and enactment of Nigeria’s Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023, the most consequential reform in the field in over thirty years—an achievement that cemented his reputation as both reformer and thought leader.

Currently serving on arbitral panels from Lagos to Kigali, Singapore to Johannesburg, Bozimo’s influence has become truly global. His appointment as Lead Speaker at the NBA-AGC session underscores the weight of his insights at a time when the legal profession is reimagining practice beyond borders.
The session promises to be a high point of the conference, with Bozimo’s address expected to inspire new pathways for innovation, resilience, and global competitiveness in law.
