The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Remuneration Committee has confirmed that thirteen branches have so far complied with the directive to submit their resolutions on the enforcement of the Legal Practitioners’ Remuneration Order 2023.
The complying branches are:
- NBA Suleja Branch
- NBA Asaba Branch
- NBA Orlu Branch
- NBA Degema Branch
- NBA Nsukka Branch
- NBA Onitsha
- NBA Awka
- NBA Nnewi
- NBA Idemmili
- NBA Aguata
- NBA Ihiala
- NBA Anaocha, and
- NBA Otuocha branches.
In addition, the Committee of Chairmen of NBA Branches in Lagos State has formally reached out to the Remuneration Committee, assuring that their collective resolution will be forwarded soon.
Please note that branch-specific resolutions are essential for the success of the forthcoming Town Hall Meetings on Enforcement of the Remuneration Order, scheduled to commence in October 2025. These sessions will provide practical strategies, compliance mechanisms, and guidance on best practices for applying the Order.
