As part of activities marking the 16 Days Activism on Gender Based Violence by the Nigeria Bar Association, yesterday the 5th day of December, saw a group called “Call a Lawyer” Paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman Human Rights Institute who also doubles as the First Vice President, Nigeria Bar Association, Barr Sabastine Anyia.
Thrilled by the gesture of the group at a time commemorating the 16 days activities on rights of all particularly the women and the vulnerable in the society by the NBA, Mr Sabastine who was full of gratitude thanked and encourage the group never to relent on it oars.
Mr Sabastine further promised the group that as part of the main agenda of Afam Osigwe SAN NBA led administration, it must always engage in activities geared towards the strengthening of rights of all and adherence to rules as pertains to rights in Nigeria. He assured that the rights of all will be pursued by the administration with equal vigour irrespective of the class or status of the victim involved.
