Heartfelt Condolences on the Passing of Alhaji Saka Abimbola Isau, SAN – A Distinguished Legal Luminary and Statesman – NBA

On behalf of the Nigerian Bar Association, we extend our heartfelt condolences on the loss of an extraordinary community leader, legal luminary, and dedicated public servant, Alhaji Saka Abimbola Isau, SAN. The passing of Alhaji Saka Isau, SAN, is a monumental loss, not only to his family but also to the legal profession, the Kwara State Government, and the nation at large. As a past Chairman of the NBA Ilorin Branch, Former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Kwara State, and Former Secretary to the Kwara State Government, he exemplified an unwavering commitment to excellence, service, and the rule of law.

He was also a devoted father to two of our distinguished colleagues, Dr. Hammed Olatunji Isau and Abdulakeem Femi Isau, whose outstanding contributions to the legal profession are a testament to the values he instilled. His enduring legacy extends through them and the countless others he inspired and mentored. Late Saka Isau, SAN, was more than a legal giant; he was a man of integrity, wisdom, and compassion. His leadership, dedication to justice, and profound impact on the lives of many will remain indelibly etched in our hearts and history.

We extend our condolences to the NBA Ilorin Branch, the Ministry of Justice, Kwara State, and the Government of Kwara State for the loss of this illustrious leader who served with distinction in every role he undertook. As we grieve, we also celebrate his life of purpose and service. May Almighty Allah grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus and bless his family, colleagues, and the people of Kwara State with the strength and fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.

With deepest sympathy,

MAZI AFAM OSIGWE, SAN.     DR. MOBOLAJI OJIBARA
