Women play a vital role in shaping the NBA at both the Branch and National levels, bringing stability, compassion, and organization to the association. Their presence ensures that the NBA remains inclusive, progressive, and impactful, fostering a legal community that upholds justice and professionalism.
Women in leadership bring a unique perspective to governance. Their ability to blend empathy with strategic decision-making strengthens institutions, and the NBA is no exception. In a profession that demands integrity and resilience, women leaders ensure that policies and initiatives reflect the diverse needs of legal practitioners while promoting fairness and efficiency.
The current NBA National Leadership, led by Mazi Afam Osigwe SAN, is a testament to the power of inclusivity. With five formidable women in key executive positions, the NBA has continued to thrive. These distinguished leaders include: Mrs. Bolatumi Animashaun, the 2nd NBA Vice President, whose leadership fosters collaboration across branches.
Mrs. Zainab Aminu Garba, the 3rd NBA Vice President, ensuring regional representation and inclusiveness.
Mrs. Bridget Edokwe, the NBA Publicity Secretary, effectively shaping the NBA’s public image and communication.
Mrs. Blessing Poromon, the NBA National Treasurer, ensuring financial transparency and accountability.
Ebiere Emmanuela Ekpese, the NBA Assistant Publicity Secretary, supporting efforts to keep members informed and engaged.
