The Nigerian Bar Association Human Rights Institute (NBA-HRI) has formally announced the constitution of its regional Human Rights Task Force teams. The regional structure spans the Eastern, Western, and Northern zones of the country and is part of a broader initiative led by the NBA’s Human Rights Institute under the chairmanship of Sabastine Anyia, Esq., who also serves as the First Vice President of the NBA.
These newly formed task forces are charged with monitoring human rights violations, supporting detainee rights enforcement under the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA), and collaborating with NBA branches and civil society to promote the rule of law.
The New Task force includes;
EASTERN REGION
1. Mr. Gabriel Ezekwe – Chairman.

5. Mr. Josephat Omeke – Member

WESTERN REGION

4. Bolanle Scholastica Ojo – Member

NORTHERN REGION
