The Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association – Section on Legal Practice (NBA-SLP), Tonye Krukrubo, SAN, has thrown his full support behind the NBA-Young Lawyers’ Forum (NBA-YLF) National Summit, reaffirming his commitment to mentoring and empowering young lawyers.

During a courtesy visit by the Chairman of the NBA-YLF National Forum, Timothy Clement, alongside Precious Umoroye Abi (Chairman, NBA-YLF National Summit Planning Committee), Smar Okpara (Chairman, NBA-YLF Port Harcourt Branch), and members of the Summit Planning Committee, Mr. Krukrubo, SAN announced the sponsorship of 10 young lawyers to attend the Summit.
The gesture underscores his long-standing advocacy for capacity building, professional development, and meaningful inclusion of young lawyers in shaping the future of legal practice in Nigeria.
The NBA-YLF National Summit is scheduled to hold in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, from 22nd to 24th April, 2026, and is expected to convene young lawyers from across the country for robust conversations on growth, ethics, innovation, and leadership at the Bar.
