The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Sokoto Branch, is set to host its much-anticipated Caliphate Bar Law Week 2026, scheduled to hold from 9th to 16th April, 2026.
The week-long event, themed, Secured Nation, Secured Future will commence with an opening ceremony expected to attract an array of high-profile dignitaries from the legal, traditional, and public sectors.
Prominent personalities billed for the opening ceremony include distinguished jurists, senior advocates, and revered traditional rulers, underscoring the significance of the annual gathering within Nigeria’s legal calendar.

The Law Week Planning Committee, chaired by Prof. Ibrahim Abdullahi, SAN, with Huzaifa M. Hassan Esq. serving as Secretary, has put together a robust programme aimed at fostering legal discourse, professional development, and institutional engagement.
