As the legal profession continues to evolve amidst growing societal demands and professional responsibilities, where better should every lawyer, stakeholder, and member of the justice sector be than at the NBA Garki Branch Law Week 2026, a week deliberately designed to inspire reflection, promote wellness, strengthen professional bonds, and advance conversations shaping the future of the Bar?
The Nigerian Bar Association, Garki Branch, popularly known as the Liberty Bar, has officially unveiled an exciting lineup of activities for its Law Week 2026, promising a rich blend of spirituality, intellectual engagement, networking, fitness, and celebration.
The week-long programme begins on Friday, 15th May 2026 with Jumu’ah Prayers at the Area 8 Central Mosque, Garki, Abuja, by 1:30 PM, followed by a Health and Fitness Aerobics Session on Saturday, 16th May 2026, at the Exhibition Pavilion, Area 11, Garki, Abuja.
On Sunday, 17th May 2026, members will gather for a Thanksgiving Service at The Light Nation Church, Jabi, Abuja, before the official Opening Ceremony and Panel Sessions commence on Monday, 18th May 2026 at the NBA House, Muhammadu Buhari Way, CBD, Abuja.
The intellectual engagements continue through Tuesday, 19th May and Wednesday, 20th May 2026, with robust panel discussions expected to address critical issues affecting the legal profession and national development.
The highly anticipated Law Dinner will hold on Thursday, 21st May 2026 at the Exhibition Pavilion, Area 11, Garki, Abuja, with the red carpet commencing by 5:00 PM. The dinner is strictly a ticketed event and is expected to attract distinguished members of the Bench, Bar, and key stakeholders across the justice sector.
The NBA Garki Branch is calling on lawyers, judges, policymakers, young lawyers, law students, corporate stakeholders, and the general public to participate actively in the Law Week activities and be part of conversations and experiences that truly matter.
Beyond the ceremonies and sessions, Law Week 2026 presents another opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, build meaningful professional networks, promote personal wellbeing, and collectively reaffirm commitment to the ideals of justice and the rule of law.
