The General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Dr. Mobolaji Ojibara, has issued a formal notice to all members of the National Executive Council (NEC) regarding the upcoming NEC meeting.
The meeting is scheduled to hold as follows:
Date: Thursday, 20th November 2025
Time: 9:00 a.m. prompt
Venue: Benin Motel Plaza Marquee, Benin City, Edo State
(NEC members are expected to arrive on Wednesday, 19th November, and depart on Friday, 21st November, 2025.)
The meeting will deliberate on key issues, including the review of the minutes from the last Pre-Conference NEC Meeting, matters arising, the President’s address, the National Secretariat’s report, updates from Sections, Fora, and Committees, as well as the State of the Nation, among other topics.
Attendance is strictly limited to:
- National Officers
- Past Presidents
- Past General Secretaries
- Branch Chairmen and Secretaries
- Chairmen and Secretaries of Sections, Fora, and Committees
- Co-opted NEC Members
- Pre-registered Observers
The meeting will hold in a hybrid format, and the virtual attendance link will be shared ahead of the session. Relevant meeting documents will also be circulated in advance.
