The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch, has formally executed a landmark memorandum of understanding with Women in Management, Business, and Public Service (WIMBIZ), a foremost non-profit organization established in 2002 to inspire, empower, and position women for leadership in management, business, and public service.
This strategic partnership underscores the NBA Lagos branch’s deliberate commitment to structured mentorship and leadership development for female lawyers within the branch. It reflects a clear vision to equip women practitioners with the competence, confidence, and leadership capacity required to excel across diverse legal and cross-sector career paths.

Through this collaboration, participants will gain access to thoughtfully curated programmes designed to strengthen leadership capability, deepen technical expertise, and expand cross-sector networks. The initiative aims to position women lawyers not only as exceptional legal professionals but also as influential leaders across industries, institutions, and governance spaces, both in Nigeria and globally.
This milestone collaboration forms part of the branch’s broader agenda for inclusive growth, institutional capacity building, and sustainable professional development at the bar. It represents a decisive step toward institutionalizing leadership pathways for women within the legal profession.
Further details regarding the framework and modalities for participation will be communicated in due course.
