The Young Lawyers Forum Gwagwalada Branch, in partnership with the Juritrust Centre for Socio-Legal Research and Documentation (JCSLRD), is set to host its inaugural summit themed “Access to Justice for All.” This significant event underscores young lawyers’ commitment to ensuring equitable access to justice for every Nigerian, particularly the marginalised segments of society.
Hamisu Umar, Chairman of the Forum, emphasised the importance of the chosen theme, highlighting the critical role of young lawyers in championing access to justice. The Summit aims to enhance the skills of young legal practitioners in fulfilling their fundamental responsibility of securing justice for all citizens, especially the vulnerable.

The decision to collaborate with the Juritrust Centre stems from its track record of excellence in legal research and advocacy for justice reform. This partnership signifies a strategic alliance geared towards advancing the cause of justice and fostering professional development among young lawyers.
The Summit will be graced by the esteemed presence of Justice A. S. Adepoju, Presiding Judge of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Gwagwalada Division, as the Special Guest of Honour. Prof. Adedeji Adekunle, SAN, Faculty Lead of the Juritrust Centre, will deliver the keynote address, setting the tone for robust discussions and deliberations.
