Invitation to the NBA-SARC Western Zone Town Hall  Meeting  

This is to invite you to the NBA-SARC Western Zone (Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Ekiti, Osun, Edo, and Delta States) Town Hall Meeting.

Theme: “Fostering A Harmonious Relationship Between Lawyers and Security Agencies in Nigeria: A Constructive Dialogue by Stakeholders”

Date: Thursday, May 16, 2024

Venue: Agip Recital Hall, Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos.

Time: 10.00a.m. 

The Nigerian Bar Association, Security Agencies Relations Committee (NBA-SARC) is a committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) established to, among other things:

  • Foster collaboration between the legal community and security agencies.
  • Collaborate with security agencies to promote and advance a mutually beneficial relationship between them and lawyers.
  • Address the challenges legal practitioners face in their professional interactions with the various security agencies in Nigeria. 

The Town Hall Meeting will give lawyers and security agencies a platform to interact and foster a harmonious working relationship. Security agencies that will be represented are the Nigeria Police Force, DSS, EFCC, ICPC, NSCDC, Nigerian Army, Nigerian Immigration Services, and Nigeria Customs Services, to mention a few.

We implore all lawyers within the zone to attend this all-important epochal town hall meeting.
