The Medicaid Cancer Foundation has extended an invitation to all the branches of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) under the leadership of President Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, to participate in the 10th edition of its annual #WalkAwayCancer event. This year’s event, themed “Honouring Heroes,” celebrates the courage and dedication of cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and advocates in the ongoing fight against cancer.
As cancer continues to place significant physical, emotional, and financial burdens on individuals and communities in Nigeria, the Medicaid Cancer Foundation remains committed to raising awareness and providing support. Over the past decade, the #WalkAwayCancer event has evolved into a symbol of hope and unity, drawing participants from across the country.
The foundation invites the NBA and the public to join in this landmark celebration, reflecting on the journey so far and reinforcing the commitment to combat cancer.
