The Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) has published on its website ECNBA Notice 10, disclosing that it shall send a test and SMS message to the individual contact information on the Voters Register, which was earlier published on March 28, 2024. This exercise ensures that a verified voter can successfully receive his/her voting credentials.
To this end, the ECNBA advises, “To ensure you can receive your SMS, please ensure Do-Not-Disturb (DND) is turned off for your phone number. Check the DND Quick Guide on go.ecnba.org to learn how to turn off DND.” You are also encouraged to check your Promotion, Social, Spam, or Junk folders if you do not receive the test email in your primary inbox.
The ECNBA has also indicated that at the end of its voter verification exercise, only 1181 of the 9123 entries requesting correction of their details on the voter’s list were successfully filtered, validated, and certified by the ECNBA for correction.
