NBA President Inaugurates Remuneration Committee to Ensure Fair Compensation Practices Across Branches

The Nigeria Bar Association’s President, Y. C. Maikyau (SAN), has inaugurated the Remuneration Committees for all NBA branches at the association’s National Headquarters in Abuja.

The event was attended by eminent silks, bar elders, and distinguished legal practitioners across the federation.

In his address, President Y. C. Maikyau emphasised the committee’s pivotal role in ensuring fair and transparent remuneration practices across NBA branches.

He accentuated the importance of diligence and impartiality in their tasks and urged the committee members to execute their responsibilities conscientiously.

While few of the committee members were physically present at the inauguration, others joined virtually from different NBA branches nationwide.

President Maikyau assured the committee of upcoming training sessions aimed at equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively carry out their duties.

He highlighted the committee’s mandate to enhance member satisfaction through equitable remuneration policies.

The inauguration signifies a significant step towards strengthening the NBA’s governance framework and promoting professionalism within the legal profession.
