NBA Sokoto Mourns the Loss of Esteemed Elder Solomon Alimasunya

We announce the passing of Elder Solomon Alimasunya with total submission to God’s will.

Elder Solomon Alimasunya passed away this morning, August 1, 2024, after a brief illness. He is survived by a wife and four children.

Born on March 5, 1960, Elder Solomon Alimasunya, Esq., demonstrated steadfast dedication to the Nigerian Bar Association and rendered exemplary service to the legal fraternity in Sokoto, leaving an indelible mark on all of us.

Throughout his life, Elder Solomon Alimasunya, Esq. exhibited profound devotion to justice and the legal profession. His active participation in NBA activities, coupled with his thoughtful leadership, inspired many and strengthened the unity of the Caliphate Bar.

He was a gentleman and an elder per excellence, known for his kindness, honesty, integrity, hard work, dedication, and professionalism. Elder Alimasunya mentored many young lawyers and was always willing to share his knowledge and experience. He was pivotal in several landmark cases and strongly advocated for legal reforms that benefited the community.

As we mourn his loss, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May we find comfort in the memories of his kindness, professionalism, and positive impact on our lives.

It is indeed a significant and irreplaceable loss to the Caliphate Bar.

May his soul rest in peace.
