On July 13, 2024, the legal community celebrated a momentous occasion as Chinyere Obasi, the National Welfare Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), exchanged vows with Dr. E.J. Ofem.
This long-anticipated union was a celebration of love and a grand event within the NBA family, bringing together some of the most prominent figures in the legal profession.
Prominent luminaries graced the occasion, led by NBA President Y.C. Maikyau, SAN, OON, escorted by National Executive Committee members.
Among the notable attendees were Linda Rose Bala, NBA First Vice President; Adegbite Adesina, NBA National General Secretary; Habeeb A. Lawal, National Publicity Secretary; and Daniel Kip, National Assistant General Secretary.
The event also witnessed the participation of the Lagos Branch’s Chairman, along with key branch members, including National Welfare Committee Chairman, Chief Emeka Ozoani, SAN, and Babatunde Ogala, SAN.
Chinyere Obasi has been an integral part of the Nigerian Bar Association under the leadership of Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau. As National Welfare Secretary, she has successfully championed the welfare and well-being of NBA members nationwide.
Her dedication to the legal profession, coupled with her commitment to improving the lives of her colleagues, has made her a respected figure within the association.
