In line with NILDS’s core mandate to build the capacity of drafters and legal officers, I forward herewith a proposed training workshop on an Effective Legislative Drafting System for Quality Law-Making in Nigeria for Legal Officers and Drafters of State Houses of Assembly and the Judiciary in Nigeria.

The workshop is designed to update drafters’ skills and acquaint them with emerging dimensions in legislative drafting, including recent judicial reviews of legislation, legal/legislative research skills, and ways of improving the legislative drafting process, among other important knowledge areas.
The workshop is scheduled to be held as follows:
- Date: Tuesday, 23rd – Thursday, 29th July 2024
- Venue: NILDS Permanent Site, No. 2, Abubakar Sulaiman Avenue, Piwoyi District, Off Musa Yar’adua Express Way, Airport Road, Abuja, Nigeria
- Participation Fee: N200,000.00 (Two Hundred Thousand Naira Only)
